PRC® pre-formed sealant gaskets and fillets are cast in custom shapes and sizes to a customer's specification for highly specialized applications. One practical application PPG Aerospace has developed is PRC® Drainblocks for BAE Systems' Typhoon combat aircraft. PRC® Drainblocks are applied in the rear fuselage side structure of the aircraft. Pockets near the engine bay can accrue moisture and water which can lead to a variety of issues. The pre-formed sealant gaskets are designed with holes that are used to drain moisture and water build up during flight in the specific part of the aircraft.

- Customized to meet the needs of the customer and as a result are able to address a variety of issues that accompany sealant application
- Since the gaskets are pre-formed, they require minimal tooling
- Requires less wet sealant because the gaskets are already cured
