What is PRC® Pre-Mixed and Frozen Sealant?
The majority of PRC® and Pro-Seal™ aerospace sealants are available in PMF form and in a wide variety of optimized packaging options. It is the easiest and most efficient package option for PRC® and Pro-Seal™ brand sealants.

Traditionally, Aerospace Sealants have been provided in two part kits (base and accelerator) which are mixed just before usage. Pre-mixed and frozen sealants are mixed, packaged and then quick frozen at one of our PPG Aerospace Application Support Centers (ASC). They are then shipped to the customer on a just-in-time basis. Afterwards, the PMF sealants are simply thawed at the work station and are ready to be used.

The majority of PRC® and Pro-Seal™ aerospace sealants are available in a variety of pre-mixed frozen packaging. Immediately after mix the products are quick frozen. Secondary quality conformance testing is run on each run to assure it completes conformance. Upon final approval the Pre-Mixed Frozen products are packaged in a specially designed shipping container that maintains the correct storage temperature during shipping. The material is shipped to the end-user who needs only to thaw the cartridges and apply the sealant.
