Z-6148 is water-borne preservation topcoat designed to be applied over Z-6160 peelable preservation basecoat. Formulated for protection of plastic, metal, porcelain and painted surfaces during in-plant fabrication, operation, shipping and storage. Z-6148 will provide the following to the peelable preservation basecoat: waterproof properties, both light and heat reflection, and increased weatherability.
Z-6160 and Z-6148 gives the user an all water-based system that permits application anywhere in the plant without danger from fire or toxic odor. Further, since the Z-6160 does not have to be fully dry before the application of Z-6148, it permits a very short application cycle. Z-6148 has the ability to dry rapidly to a rain resistant coating while allowing the Z-6160 beneath it to continue its cure process.
Pinholes or breaks can be patched using SC-247-2 brushable touch-up preservation topcoat. |
